PUBLIC EXPIRATION SCHEDULE


Grace Period (Day 1-10)

The grace period is the first period of time between domain expiration, and full domain name lockout.

Parked Period (Day 10-20)

During this 10 day period, the domain name will be interrupted and parked with us. DNS will be locked down, as well as host records. WHOIS and auth codes are still accessible. There will be instructions for the user to login on the parked page. There will still be no additional fee to renew until day 20.

Redemption Period (Day 20+)

The redemption period begins and will last until the 40th day. After 40 days, the domain name can no longer be renewed. At this point, the domain is fully locked down and can not be managed unless a redemption fee + one year renewal is paid.

Expiring Auction (Day 20-30)

The expiring auction is open to the public. Anyone can join and bid for the expiring domain during this period. The domain may still be removed from redemption by the original owner.

Closeout Auction (Day 30+)

The closeout auction is open to the public and domains are listed for a buy it now price with immediate access after day 40. The domain may still be removed from redemption by the original owner.

Delivery / Release (Day 33)

If the domain name has been purchased on auction, the transfer will be completed during this time. If no purchase of the domain is made, and the owner does not renew domain registration, the domain will be released to the registry at this time.
